Mo’s Playtime is a work in progress piece that began at Performance Works Northwest during the alembic residency that I was selected for in 2020. It’s slapstick, grief, a game of stop-go, that is ever-evolving. Below are two videos. The first one is a livestream of one of the performances that happened in summer 2021. It includes ASL before and after the show. The second includes audio description and is a pre-recorded video.

Image description: A collage of images surrounded by squiggly red, blue, and yellow lines. One image is Maura sitting in a kid’s size chair at a table wearing a red shirt and a white clown collar with her hair pulled back. She stares at a yellow balloon with a blonde wig that sits on the table. Two images are Maura standing and flailing her limbs which are blurred. She wears the red shirt and red shorts. Other pictures are of just the props. The balloon head. The kid’s size furniture: a red chair, yellow chair, and blue table. A red kettle and two tea cups are on the tabletop.
